A medium tree with smooth bark and enormous bright green leaves. Good ornamental specimen and used for screening for its large leaves.

Beautiful, rare ornamental speciman and the only Eucalyptus with red flowers hardy enough for the UK. A versitile tree when it comes to soil conditions, fragrant leaves and smooth mottled bark.

NOTE: Hardiness rating -5C - 10C but as yet untested by us. Grow in a sheltered position or as a potted tree which can be moved under cover to overwinter.

Also known as Eucalyptus parvifolia. A good variety for cold hardiness, wet, infertile soils and lime tolerance. It has smaller leaves than most Eucalyptus and unusual in that the crown retains many of the juvenile green leaves. Produces a profusion of white flowers in Summer.

Growth Habit: A small tree which tends to develop a large crown with semi -drooping branches. Dense foliage.

Unusual because the elliptical juvenile leaves are joined around the stem and when they die, they detach from the stem and can spin round it in a breeze - hence the name 'spinning gum'. This is also a cold hardy and exposure tolerant variety and can be cut back or coppiced to produce new juvenile growth. The juvenile growth can be used in fresh and dried flower arrangements.

Fantastic variety - The leaves are small, blue-green, fragrant and the foliage is ideal for flower arrangements. The tree is small looks unusual, is relatively slow growing and can be grown indoors. It is the most prolific flowering variety of any we have listed and when it does, the foliage resembles a kebab with the flowers in between the round leaves.

We sell these as multi-stemmed plants.

This tree gets its name from the peeling ribbons of bark around the base of the tree which droop to look like a dripping wax candle and the variation in the leaf colours make this a very decorative tree. It's fast growing and will thrive in low fertile, acid soils.
